Small home, Big Style!
This 1984 Cape Cod style house renovation added some BIG style to this smaller home!
The small scale rooms felt compartmentalized and didn't allow for a nice big island. Now open and bright there is so much more kitchen storage, counter space and room for entertaining. Combining different cabinet finishes gives it a cohesive look with the style of the home and gives it a unique and curated look.

The existing sink was crammed into the corner and with the dishwasher it felt boxed in. Now with the sink in the island they can face the front window, guests and the t.v. while at the sink, and enjoy the beautiful view of the meadow while prepping food with the seven feet of counter space.

The decor expresses their ecclectic style that includes antiques and etchings collected from travels, Asian influences and heirlooms making it a truly personal space.
